Character Appearance

Height & Weight: When it comes to height, Sang-mi stands at a tad bit under average. She is 5’2”, possibly 5’3”, but she isn’t all that certain~ some people question if an inch truly makes a difference. When you are short, it certainly does make a difference. Especially if you are Sang-mi. The girl is the shortest out of her entire family, even her younger brother stand almost a foot taller than her. She wishes she were taller. When it comes to her weight, however, she is perfectly content. She weighs in at a healthy 123lbs, her body shapely and petite for both body structure and height.

Skin Tone: Sang-mi has an excellent complexion. Being of Korean origin, she naturally has slightly fuller tones to her skin. But truly, it is only slightly. Her skin is fully capable of turning pink in the cheeks or paling if she is sick, but otherwise there is a healthy glow to her skin. Sang-mi’s skin appears soft as silk, a glimmering shade of cream-swirled hazelnut.

Eyes: Sang-mi has subtly almond shaped eyes, neither slanted upward nor downward. The colour enveloping her iris is an interesting combination of soft brown and gold. Honey-drizzled chocolate would be more accurate while describing Sang-mi’s eyes, their depths screaming with warmth and a certain viscosity that create swirling, brown abyss’ within her eyes.

Hair: She wears her hair down, for the most part. She is partial to curling her hair, enjoying the way her hair crowns her head and shapes her face, but on her lazy days she will wear her hair naturally. The colour is a soft black, not deep and rich, almost appearing brown until under a certain light. When straight it reaches to about the middle of her back.

Clothing Style: Sang-mi is more reserved when it comes to her clothing. She enjoys loose fitting long-sleeved shirts and hoodies, feeling more at home when skin is not showing. She finds it disrespectul, because of her upbringing, to show too much skin. She also hides in her clothes to further hide scars. She is a more casual dresser, sticking to jeans and loose tops, which must always be long-sleeved.

Talents: Sang-mi has a way with plants as well as math problems. She enjoys solving a difficult equation just about as much as gardening.

Hobbies: She enjoys sitting outside and feeling the sun on her face, losing herself in a good story. She also loves gardening, and has her own little garden back home.

Brief Summary:
Sang-mi is, by nature, a burdened soul. She is hidden behind a mask of smiles and laughter. Despite how she may act within the throngs of society, she is in a constant state of panic. She is screaming on the inside, crying and begging for help before it is too late. But, she does not wish to be a bother to people so she comes off as a carefree person with not a worry in the world. Only when she is alone in her room does the real Sang-mi emerge. She has an addiction to pain killers and sleeping medication because of what they can offer her. She is full of shame and is inwardly angry with herself.

To the world, Sang-mi is a bubbly creature who is full of kindness and love. She has the occasional negative thought of someone, but never outright acts upon them. She would never purposefully harm someone~ in fact she goes out of her way to make friends. Sang-mi enjoys making people feel wanted and does anything and everything in her power to bring about smiles; she loves showing, and telling, people just how beautiful they truly are. She does not assess by appearance, but by how a person acts morally.

Family: Her mother, her father, and her older brother Kwan.

Pets: She does not have any pets.

Social Status: She is from a wealthy family.

Detailed History: sanng-mi was born in Korea to a family high in power and wealth. Her older brother Kwan was a stranger in the family as she grew up, thanks to him being their father's shadow, and Sang-mi was left to deal with her mother alone. While her mother loves her, Sang-mi was taught to be obedient. Because of her upbringing, Sang-mi is now riddled with issues relating to not ever being good enough. Her mother taught her that she can always do better.

Her mother stole her away from Korea at the age of ten and they moved to America, where they are now "in hiding". Sang-mi's mother fled Korea after an accident involving Kwan. Not wishing Sang-mi to get caught up in such danger, Sang-mi was taken away~ literally. She struggled not in learning the English language and quickly fit in.

She just transfered from her public school.
